My mother's BBQ recipe

Yes! nothing beats my mom's bbq recipe. It's her home cooking that brought me to curiosity and passion of cooking. When I was still a child, I just love to eat and eat. And now that I have gained a good amount of knowledge on cooking, I just can't stop cooking. So today, I will share my mother's bbq recipe. I cooked it today and my mother in law told me I just gave her a treat.

If you've been wanting to eat a tender and juicy and well seasoned bbq, well.. as I often say it. You are in the right place.

What you need to have are the following:

For marinating sauce:

• 1/2 lbs of chicken thigh- Di- boned.
• minced garlic
• chopped onion
• Kikko man soy sauce
• Rice vinegar
• Sugar
• black pepper
• Sprite soft drink

Put the chicken and mixed all together. Balance the taste that suits your taste.
Marinate the chicken for 24 hours.

For the BBQ sauce:
• minced garlic
• chopped onion
• Kikko man soy sauce
• tomato catsup
• Rice vinegar
• Sugar
• black pepper
• Sprite soft drink
• dash of flour

Mixed all the ingredients and heat it up. While heating up, add the flour little by little until it blends and transform the mixture into a saucy mixture.

To Barbeque:

• Start up your grill. And wait till it is hot enough to start cooking.

• Get a small amount from the sauce mixture and add some oil.
And while barbecuing apply this mixture onto the meat.

• Let the meat sits for like 15-20 mins and flip the side until the outside color of the meat is alike.
Flip once in a while to cook meat evenly. After you flip the side, keep brushing the sauce mixture onto the meat to retain the flavor.

Refer on Picture 1 for a desired color.

Keep flipping the meat for at least 10 more minutes until your barbecue is ready to be serve.

Just a thought... coke (instead of sprite) has been shown to have more acid in it, and tenderizes meat. Just an idea!
