Pecan Candies





















I have cooked Peanut and Pili nuts candy but I have never tried Pecans.
So today, I will try to share my recipe for Pecan Candies, which me and my mother in law enjoys to eat so much more of a handful.

PECAN COATED CANDIES

Ingredients

5 Cups of Pecans
5 Cups of brown Sugar
2 TBS of Vanilla
4 cups of water

How to make it:

1. In a non-stick skillet, with a medium fire, put 4 cups of water and wait until it gets warm then put 5 cups of that brown sugar.

2.Keep Stirring until it boils, put the Pecans, wait until picture A is achieved.

3.Don't stop stirring until it caramelizes. Refer to Picture B.

4. Once the sugar is completely caramelized, the pecans will start to stick with the sugar, it will get heavy as you continue stirring.

5. Wait until the whole mixture gets dry. Don't stop stirring as it can cause the Pecans to solidify.

6. VIOLA! Here's your Pecan Candies.
















7. Once cold down, store in a sealed container to retain the crispness of the candies.
